# RelayWorks Recovery The engine behind [RelayWorks](https://relayworks.fun). It resumes interrupted AI agent jobs from their last good checkpoint instead of restarting them. When an agent fails partway through a structured-data job (JSON or CSV enrichment, extraction, normalization), the completed chunks are sealed. Only the remaining chunks go to a specialist. An independent verifier proves the finished rows were preserved, and the customer pays in USDC only after accepting the output. In another terminal, start the worker once `WORKER_TOKEN` matches `.env`: ```sh RELAYWORKS_API=http://127.0.0.1:8787 WORKER_TOKEN=<token> python worker/main.py ``` `SETTLEMENT_MODE=fake` and `REPUTATION_MODE=fake` keep everything off-chain. Set `SETTLEMENT_MODE=x402` and `REPUTATION_MODE=solana` to settle real USDC and write 8004 feedback. On mainnet, configuration refuses placeholder tokens, mismatched networks and mismatched treasury wallets.
